Gem is a 2 year old rescue from Ireland with behaviour problems, her nervous disposition would not allow her to be in a class with other dogs, she couldn’t queue at shows and gives up and withdraws in seconds. Since training with Stacey in a small class Gem has gained enormous confidence, The dogs are trained as individuals not a pure group, what works for one she realises may not work for others. Stacey’s boundless energy and enthusiasm to get the best out of the dogs ( and the handlers) has certainly worked for Gem who is now regularly getting clear round rosettes and her confidence growing rapidly. Cody and I joined Arun Valley a few months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed our training with Stacey she encourages and challenges us but the class is always fun and rewarding she is an excellent tutor and her explanation of the work is always cLear and concise I always go home feeling we have achieved something positive.

It is almost exactly 12 months since I began training with Stacey, and in that time, my young dog and I have had the most incredible year; progressing from grade 3 to grade 6.

Stacey’s expert tuition has played no small part in our successes. Her positive approach has helped boost my confidence no end, while her constant enthusiasm and commitment to staying abreast of new handling techniques have helped me to develop a style that works really well for both me and my dog.

Perhaps the best thing about training with Stacey, though, is the great big grin plastered all over my face as I drive home at the end of each class. Terrific!

I have been training with Stacey for near on 2 years. In the time i have been training with Stacey i have gained a lot of confidence and different techniques. Stacey is a superb trainer of a very high standard, she knows what she wants to achieve, but most important of all she makes it fun too. My 2 grandchildren have lessons with Stacey, they are 7 & 8 years old and they can’t get to training quick enough each week, they just love it!
